Dear Maple Families, We hope this message finds you well. As members of the Maple Elementary Parent-Teacher Student Association (PTSA), we are reaching out to you today to recruit volunteers to help support our school's mission and vision. As you may already know, the PTSA is a group of dedicated parents/family members, teachers, faculty and students who work together to create a positive and engaging learning environment for our students. Our goal is to help enrich the educational experience for every child in our school by organizing events, fundraisers, and other activities that promote learning and community involvement. But we can't do it alone. That's why we need your help! Whether you're a working parent, stay-at-home mom or dad, or extended family member, there are many ways you can get involved with the PTSA. From volunteering your time, to helping to plan events, or to simply attending our meetings and sharing your ideas, every contribution is valuable and appreciated. As a PTSA volunteer, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our students and help shape the future of our school. Plus, you'll get to meet other families and teachers who share your passion for education and community involvement. Here is a list of some specific areas of support we could use or reach out if you have other interests: -After School Programming for 2023-2024 -2024 Move-a-thon & Southeast Seattle Schools Funding Alliance -Advocacy -Maple Gear -Community Building Events So please, consider joining the PTSA today. Together, we can make our school an even better place for our children to learn and grow. Join us to learn more at our next Working Meeting with the PTSA board and volunteers, in-person, on May 9th at 6:30.
