From March 2020 on, Maple Elementary and Maple PTSA, with the help of many big-hearted volunteers and donors, were able to help the community since the beginning of the pandemic. Here are some ways this year that Maple Cares a lot!
44 Lunch volunteers at Maple helped by wiping tables, opening milks, and sharing their smiles with students.
Over 100 coats gathered and 60 distributed to students.
From September 2021 to January 2022, 225 Friday weekend food bags were distributed with more to come for the year. During the remote pandemic period, Maple distributed 100 Friday food bags a week!
From March 2020 to today, over $63,000 was used to support families with the Right Now Fund and the Maple Cares fund raising over $20,000 since its inception in May 2020.
85% of Maple students are vaccinated. Thank you for continuing to help kids stay healthy, and keeping them home when they are sick!
