King County has created a new program to assist households economically impacted by COVID who have been unable to meet rent.
Families need to meet requirements in order to fill out the interest form.
Renters will be chosen by lottery on a weekly basis starting September 14.
If their interest form is selected by lottery, they will be contacted by a community based organization that will help them complete the actual application form.
If they are not selected, their interest form will remain in the lottery and will continue to have the opportunity to be selected until all funds are gone.
Renters whose interest forms are not selected will receive an email every Friday after September 14 to inform them of their status.
Only fill out one (1) interest form per household. Families do not increase their chances if they submit more than one and may delay processing time.
